GA4 ASC Events Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the GA4 ASC Events connector for Google Looker Studio (“the Service”), operated by VCTRS (“we”, “us”). By subscribing to or using the Service, you agree to these terms. Effective date: July 12, 2026.

1. The Service

The Service is a Google Looker Studio community connector that displays data from Google Analytics 4 properties you have access to, including metrics derived from the Automotive Standards Council (ASC) event specification. The Service reads your Analytics data only; it cannot modify your Google Analytics account.

2. Accounts and eligibility

• You need a Google account and at least Viewer access to a GA4 property to use the Service.
• One subscription covers one person (the Google account used at checkout). That person may create unlimited data sources and reports; people who only view shared reports do not need a subscription.
• You are responsible for what you share: reports built on the Service expose your Analytics data to whomever you grant report access.

3. Subscription, billing, and cancellation

• Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis via Stripe, at the price shown at checkout. Taxes may apply based on your location.
• Subscribe using the same email address as your Google account — access is matched by email.
• You may cancel at any time via the Stripe billing portal or by contacting us. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period; no partial-period refunds are provided unless required by law.
• When a subscription lapses, data sources created with the Service stop returning data. Your Looker Studio reports and their configurations are not deleted, and access resumes on resubscription.
• We may change pricing with at least 30 days’ notice; changes apply from your next billing cycle.

4. Acceptable use

• Do not resell, sublicense, or share a single subscription across multiple people.
• Do not attempt to disrupt the Service, circumvent subscription verification, or use the Service in violation of Google’s or Stripe’s terms.
• Do not use the Service with data you have no right to access.

5. Third-party services

The Service runs on Google Apps Script and depends on Google Looker Studio, the Google Analytics API, and Stripe. Their availability and terms are outside our control. Google Analytics, Looker Studio, and related marks are trademarks of Google LLC; VCTRS is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google or the Automotive Standards Council.

6. Data

Our handling of your data is described in the GA4 ASC Events Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that reported figures are error-free: reported metrics reflect the data your GA4 property records, which depends on your website’s tagging, consent configuration, and Google’s processing. The Service is a reporting tool and does not constitute business, financial, or legal advice.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, or data.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms or abusive use, with a pro-rata refund of any prepaid period where the termination is not for cause. You may stop using the Service at any time; see section 3 for billing effects.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
